Bitword is a search and identity layer where each word has one holder worldwide. Before the platform opens, this window lets a company place a free, non-binding hold on its brand names, product names, and campaign phrases. No payment exists on this site.
One holder per word, worldwide, first come. Enter a brand name, product name, or campaign phrase. You can check several at once, separated by commas. Specific names only: generic category words are held by the platform and cannot be reserved by anyone.
Company name, the words, and a contact email. That is the entire form. The email is the account; there are no passwords, and we never send email during the window.
When the platform opens, business verification precedes any ownership. Only the verified, rightful owner of a brand can activate that brand's words. Holds by anyone else lapse.
Keep the words you want, let the rest go. Nothing is owed for holding, and no business is charged until months after the platform launches.
Holding is always free. At the migration a company that wants to activate verifies first (a paid verification package that proves the business is real and keeps bots out), then confirms the words it keeps; first bids on top-of-search words start around $250. Monthly subscriptions begin months after launch, following a free-use period. Full mechanics are in the partner report.
Words are one holder each, worldwide, first come. During the window your company's names can be held quietly and at no cost. After the doors open, an unheld name is available to any verified claimant with a legitimate case, and top-of-search words go to auction. Reserving now is the inexpensive way to make the question moot.
Holds on this site are non-binding and grant no ownership. At the migration, verification decides: a hold on a brand by someone who is not the rightful owner cannot be activated and lapses. If you want it flagged now, use the contact form and pick "Legal or authorities".
A corporate account is how an organization reserves at scale: its own words, its divisions and brands underneath, and reservations made on behalf of clients. During the window the corporate account is free, and the partner-to-partner invite is the professional route for bringing another organization in.
Who can accept for a company: anyone authorized to act for it, using a business email. Accepting only holds words in the company's name; it signs nothing and owes nothing.
Counts are real reservations, tallied from the live record. The public board lists who holds what: see the board. The platform itself is already running at bitword.co.
